Those of you who have been reading this blog for a while, know that I have a little bit of a “thing” for men’s underwear. In fact, there was a time where I was reviewing men’s underwear on a monthly (or even bi-weekly) basis for a bit. It’s been a while, but I am back with version 10.0 (!) – featuring MANRAGS.
I am in running gear 1-2 hours/day, a fair amount, but nowhere near the 10+ hours I am in need of business casual attire. As someone who would rather don a running outfit that work apparel, I find that I am more productive – both on the trails and in my cube – when I am comfortable. We have been profiling some “lifestyle” clothing gear for years now and think that it’s worthwhile to know about items that may prove useful in your closet.
There are numerous subscription terms (see below) to meet your needs. I have mentioned before that while I enjoy having nice casual socks in my dresser, there is little worse than actually shopping for them. I can always go out and purchase a multi-pack of basic socks, but I feel that most are not made super well, and fall apart and become less comfortable at a rapid rate. But basically when I shop, I either buy a mega pack of crappy pairs (because I don’t want to shop for them again), or I end up wearing the same pairs for years – which is kind of gross. MANRAGS takes the guess work out of it. Just start the subscription and they will roll in.
I’m not going to go into major detail on “reviewing” socks and underwear, but they feel and fit and the look are stylish (without going over the top). While you can’t select a specific design or pattern, you can select a ‘preferred style’ when you complete your subscription and then similar styles will be sent to match that preference every month. The Egyptian Cotton construction should ensures that the color schemes stay fresh and the socks don’t turn into an unshapely mess after each wash. Speaking of washing, if you happen to become victim to the ‘Washing Machine Monster’, you can email them and they will send you a replacement!
It’s sort of weird to talk about how a company ships something to you, but I feel I had to make mention of MANRAGS. They come in a great motivational and recyclable box, and even their “plastic” bag for shipping is not going to harm the environment. So cool!
